the silver lining

Her mind dropped to the floor
Like an old pair of too tight jeans.

Her mouth quiet
Her body opened
Cellular memory uncapped her skull.
The sky streamed in
On ancient meridian highways
and she drank her own deep.

Stars made love to the Virgin
Full moon
Bright celebrants
Darkness and light.

All through the body of one night
She was danced
Moved from deep within
Every cell
Head to toe
In love, in response.
Her lunar body rotated around the sun of her heart.

There is stardust in her silver hair for a reason
And it is not a sign of old age.

Who she always and already is
Gets bigger with every true and naked meeting.

moon-shined and belly laughing

I feel I can be heard underwater
my wild heart language
rises from under the sea
reverberating like sonar
its powerful song.

this never before heard
powerfilled
lovefilled
no doubt about it
woman's voice
picks up the beat of the forever song
of all women.

what a woman feels must be heard
sooner
rather than later.

now is a good place to begin, singing
singing the soul of woman
divine
dark
raw
awakening
moon-shined and belly laughing.

inspired by words of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes

inside out

with "just" a few sentences
Neruda turned me inside out,

shining from deep within
the heart's fire blazes in the center

cooly reflected on the windows of my moon eyes,
the night's moisture rests on my dewy lips.

the crone

Thoughts about cronedom are rolling in.

I sense that I am closer to the moon's cycles now, without the tides of my menses. Menstruation was like training wheels, to align me with the Moon, to get a feel for her in my body.

Night will have to fall before I can elaborate on these new thoughts. I feel the inspiration flowing in, tears rise to my eyes, I feel I know something, I receive this experience in a new way, through my senses.
