As things stand I'm not altogether pleased with the idea of dying. If I could be assured that some pleasing image would persist forever, I might feel differently. Death is such a personal matter.
ReplyDeleteit is very personal, yes. and i sense that each one of us gets exactly the view we need to come to terms with this most potent experience. it's good, i think, to lean into such a great mystery while we still have our wits about us.
